
We aspire to be the most eco friendly research firm in the world. We are committed to achieving zero waste in our offices and doing all that is possible to reduce our impact on the environment. We use a combination of management tools and common sense to ensure the decisions we make in the office take environmental impacts into account.
Electricity
We generate 100% our own electricity via solar panels and even export back to the national grid
Lights
All of the lights in our head office are LED, reducing waste and power requirements
Water
We collect rain water from the roof of our head office, which is then used in our office’s kitchen and bathrooms
Paper and Cardboard
We compost all suitable paper, cardboard and organic matter
Recycle
We recycle all office waste, including all cans, glass, and plastic
Trees to Offset Carbon
We plant native trees every year to offset all our carbon emissions from all our travel
Electronic
We limit paper by operating electronically, all of our reports, presentations, letters & newsletters are delivered electronically.
Design
We have designed our head office to be energy efficient; it uses passive solar, is double glazed, and insulated to R 2

Tim Morris
Tim is one of a handful of recognized global experts in the changing structure of supermarket and mass merchandise retailing. Tim has over 20 years experience in retailing, consumer packaged goods (CPG), and strategic consulting. Tim is Managing Director and one of the founding partners of Coriolis Research.
Tim regularly consults to retailers, private equity and government on retailing and the food/CPG industry in New Zealand, Australia, South East Asia, and globally.
Tim was the lead researcher on Coriolis reports on retail globalization, Wal-Mart, Costco, Aldi, Safeway, Woolworths Australia, Whole Foods, Trader Joes and many others.
Prior to helping found Coriolis, Tim worked for Swander Pace, Safeway, Dreyers, Woolworths and Kraft. Tim has a degree in Agricultural Economics and Food Industry Management from Cornell University.

Virginia Wilkinson
Virginia is Research Director and Coriolis’ resident expert on consumer research and executive interviews. She has over ten years of experience in primary sector and food and fast moving consumer goods research. Virginia regularly conducts both primary and secondary research on food, fast moving consumer goods and retailing in New Zealand, Australia, South East Asia, and globally for manufacturers, retailers, private equity and government .
Virginia is a speaker at industry conferences on topics as diverse as the performance of the New Zealand Pharmacy sector, the potential growth of organics in New Zealand to Opportunities for driving growth in the New Zealand Food and Beverage Industry.
Prior to Coriolis, Virginia worked for AC Nielsen, Colmar Brunton and the Canterbury Regional Council.
Virginia has a Masters degree in Geography from Canterbury University.

Claudia Wyss, BHB, MBChB, MBA (Harvard)
Claudia Wyss is the founder and Managing Director of Coriolis Healthcare. She has over 17 years of practical experience in healthcare: As a medical doctor, hospital manager and management consultant in New Zealand, the United States and United Kingdom.
Claudia received her medical degree at the University of Auckland in 1998 and her MBA from Harvard in 2005, where she was a Dean’s Award, Knox & Sacerdote Fellowship, and honours recipient.
Prior to pursuing her MBA, Claudia practiced as a medical doctor and worked as Senior Manager of Special Projects at New Zealand’s largest acute hospital.
Following her MBA, Claudia worked as consultant manager for McKinsey & Company in the U.S. and U.K.
